Maven Cannabis, a subsidiary of Maven Brands Inc., owns and operates a fully licensed 19,500 square foot cannabis facility at the 40 acre Monashee Gateway Business Park, situated in the Village of Lumby at the north end of the Okanagan Valley in the Interior of British Columbia, Canada.

In addition to our services hub, we are preparing to cultivate premium, small-batch genetics and will process, package and sell branded cannabis products to both medical patients and retail cannabis stores nationwide.

Jennifer Pace, CPA, CGA, MBA
Chief Financial Officer
Mrs. Pace has held her CPA designation since 2001 and completed her Masters of Business Administration in 2008. Mrs. Pace started as True Leaf’s Controller in the Fall of 2019 to lead an internal initiative to improve financial controls and reporting and assumed the position of CFO in March 2020. She was appointed to the board effective September 13, 2020. Â
Prior to joining True Leaf Brands Mrs. Pace was the Controller and CFO at Progressive Air Services a privately owned airplane engine manufacturer, as well Ms. Pace was a long-time employee, and ended her tenure as the Controller, for PRT Growing Services (annual revenues of $100 million) where she started in 2004 as the Operations Accountant. PRT Growing Services was a publicly-traded company that went private in 2012 changing its name from Pacific Regeneration Technologies as part of the transaction. Mrs. Pace is also an avid volunteer in her community for non-profit organizations including Habitat for Humanity, the Army, Navy & Airforce Veterans in Canada, and the Royal Canadian Legion.
Andrew Gordon
Vice President, Strategic Growth
Over the course of his 7 year career in the cannabis industry, Andrew has worked successfully with a diverse array of stakeholders and regulators to build accountable, community-responsive and financially sustainable business models. Andrew is galvanized by the opportunities legalization presents for Canadians, and is dedicated to reducing social stigma for cannabis consumers, and abating pharmaceutical drug dependence within communities.
Andrew is a co-founder of Kiaro Brands Inc (TSXV: KO), where he served three years as Senior Vice President, and currently serves as a member of the brand’s Board of Strategic Advisors. As Vice-President and founding member of the BC Craft Farmers Co-Op, and a recent Director of the Association of Canadian Cannabis Retailers, Andrew is an ardent cannabis advocate and spokesperson, specializing in strategic planning, public relations, and community partnerships.
Tom Smale
GM, Cannabis Operations
Lifetime legacy grower with deep experience in QA methodology, Standard Operating Procedures, Good Production Practices (GPP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Previous work experience with numerous licensed producers, micro-cultivators and regulatory experts. Highly proficient in cannabis production methodology, department structuring, systems integration and on-going Health Canada compliance requirements

With 8 years of operational experience in all aspects of bringing a cannabis company from incorporation to licensed sales.
